Yesterday we took advantage of a fine evening and drove a short way out of the city to Taylor's Mistake. We're not sure of how it earned this place name, but it's a pretty spot with paragliders soaring over the Port Hills and plenty of golden light at this time of day...

it's really pretty there. i remember going there to support my gal pals as their roxy surfing classes were held there. aaron and i brought them mince pies! what a lovely first photograph!
