It was definitely autumn time, plenty of pumpkins and corn.

Sugaring vats - it takes 40 gallons of maple sap to produce 1 gallon of maple syrup.
There are 4 grades of maple syrup from light to dark, produced at different times during the sugaring season.

Modern sap-collecting - in the old times, each tap had its own bucket. Now, plastic piping is used, allowing sap from up to 300 trees to be collected to a single vessel. Delicious!
