We picked up a Toyota Corolla from downtown Manhattan and Dave masterfully drove us out of the big city into New England. You definitely need a satnav to get around the complicated road system! I think Dave will always remember how 'talkative' this car was... it would beep at him for leaving the keys in the car or taking his seatbelt off while he stopped by the roadside to snap some photos. Luckily it didn't discourage him from getting some pics of some essential New England sights:
Lighthouses
Seaside homes
Covered bridges
Vermont dairy farms
White steepled churches and red mills
Iconic New England architecture
