The Eagle, Cambridge


This is 'The Eagle' pub, famous for being a regular haunt of James Watson and Francis Crick, discoverers of DNA's double helix structure. They are alleged to have announced their discovery in the pub, probably to the bewilderment of most patrons...

Saw this on DWTV this morning (19th Aug, 09)and a quick tour of Cambridge. Having seen your photos, everything on TV looked so familiar. The one interesting thing they showed was the grasshopper clock with the grasshopper eating away time. I thought it's very well done, beautiful.
