Our final stop was in Brussels, meeting up with Becky in her lovely new apartment. We made full use of the roof terrace...
The famous (but rather small) Mannequin Pis was looking rather scholarly.
And several Belgian beers finished off the day (including a delicious cherry one, and a less pleasant 12% alcohol beer that tasted of marmite!)
The journey back via Dunkirk went smoothly, and we arrived back home with 2715 miles (4500km) behind us. Our little google map - originally for planning purposes - shows the entire loop...

Funny how we never really planned it like that but all came together as we went round. Fortunately it did work out really well and made a fantastic road trip!
