Borough Market

Spot Bridget Jones's flat! Here is Borough Market, near London Bridge.

Lovely and unusual produce. My favourites were the Romanesco Cauliflowers and Puffball Mushrooms.

After all of this, I guess you might be at risk of getting one of these...

Such good photos and interesting foodstuff! The pears are so looong! and those green cauliflowers are too beautiful to eat. I suppose they must be like our broccoflower. Puffball mushrooms - yum? and what's that brown pyramid stack? cakes?

Just found you via miss pen and here you are at my old home. Lived at Borough for 10 years and you've made me very homesick. Oh to eat the lavender meringues at my favourite tea shop... so happy to see your photos and find your blog.

I don't know why England has this reputation that their food is very blah. From the looks of your pictures, they have very nice, if not unusual ingredients. A gourmet's galore!

British market food is the best! The brown pyramid is indeed... a 'Brownie Stack'! yes! No wonder poor Bridget had a weight problem, she was doomed from the time she signed her rent agreement. Thanks for saying hi lovely textiles! You are so lucky to have lived at Borough.
