Happy New Year!
Hope you enjoyed the first day of 2011. We went to a friend's new home in St John's Wood to celebrate the New Year together, and met up again today for a walk around Little Venice. I have kept my resolutions simple this year so that I have a chance of fulfilling them... find a wedding caterer, learn how to make a few different recipes from my usual repetoire (I do have help in the form of a lovely engagement pressie from Annette and family - Harbour Kitchens Cookbook), and the rather boring but necessary one of maintaining my CPD, ongoing learning for my physiotherapy career.
We are off to the real Venice in less than two week's time, for a long weekend break to celebrate Dave's birthday. We're looking forward to experiencing a quieter, more mysterious Venice than the one we saw in summertime. I hope we'll be able to take some good photos and enjoy getting lost by wandering the streets and bridges.
