Happy Birthday, Clare!

Happy birthday to my gorgeous best friend!

For Clare's early birthday festivities we went to Thorpe Park, an amusement park with lots of rollercoasters in Surrey. It was a perfect day, not too hot or cold. Which was a good thing as there was quite a bit of queuing... especially for the new 'Saw' rollercoaster, based on the horror movie. We were expecting a 2 hour wait but got through the line in an hour and a bit for a short but rather exhilirating 30 second ride!


To explain the drinks in our hands - ginger beer is my miracle cure for any motion sickness (I feel ill even sitting on the Tube facing backwards). It seemed to do the trick. The highlights were definitely the rollercoasters, but Clare and I also appreciated the TeaCups and the merry-go-round. Meanwhile, our boys were definitely 'Man Enough' to take on the Stealth ride.
