Delicious

Here is a quick taste of what you'll typically find to eat and drink in Morocco...

Freshly squeezed orange juice (like nothing I've tasted before, tastes like sunshine...)

Mint, for traditional mint tea. Fresh mint, gunpowder green tea and sugar cubes. Dave affectionately calls it 'toothpaste'.

Fresh fruit; and bread, which is served at every meal in various forms.

In Essaouira, we loved the Fish Grill. You can pick which fish you want to eat and they'll cook it for you. We had the set menu for 150 dirham for two - crevettes (shrimp), scampi, John Dory, whetfish, calamari and fresh salad.

Mountains of olives.

Spices...

Tagines (lamb, fish, beef, chicken or vegetable) and cous cous.

Bon appetit!
