Welsh Pubs

The Bear in Crickhowell was the very first British animal pub I photographed on my travels, so it was fun to 'catch' more in lovely Wales. It's become a hobby that keeps me on the lookout for more traditional pubs with animal names. The other rule is that it has to have a good picture. Sadly (or luckily?) I am a rather lightweight drinker so it's not a pub crawl. I like to think it keeps the eyes keen and makes the journey even more interesting... it's a good thing I have willing accomplices!

Pictured: Coach & Horses Tavern, Tai'r Bull, The Kestrel Inn, The White Hart Inn, and a fairy door found in a roadside tree.
