With both of us feeling a little recovered from our London Bugs, we felt like a little walk in the sun...

So we wandered down to Little Venice, a gorgeous spot where the Grand Union and Regent Canals meet, hidden away near Paddington Station.

Lots of people moor their boats here and live a life on the water - in central London!

A mixture of converted barges, houseboats, and narrow boats are used as mobile floating homes.

Regent's Canal then disappears into tiny Maida Vale tunnel, over 250m long. You don't want to meet another boat halfway along - there aren't any passing places!

Lots of boats are semi-permanently moored, with special hook ups and garden areas...

And even some 4 legged additions to the crew.

Not all the gardens were spick and span though!

There are some quite incredible houses as the canal enters Regent's Park.

And we finished off with a rest at the top of Primrose Hill, with some great panoramas of the city

I've heard there is an excellent Regent's Canal kayaking dawn tour that you can do.....
the stroll looked great!
Oh, wow. I'll look out for the tour - although early mornings aren't my forte! Thanks Pen.
