Early Morning Ferry

Some more pics from the late August Bank Holiday... Our early morning arrival in Southampton and prompt boarding of the ferry meant that we had a lovely smooth sail to Ryde. Yachts flowed around us and the Solent was still and calm.







We do have a bit of exciting news... we've been looking at some houses for a few weeks now and found a place that we could imagine calling our home. On Saturday, our offer was accepted so we are starting to go through the process of buying our first home. It's a little house built in the 60s that has been well loved and looked after and hopefully a place that we can nest in and learn some DIY as we make it our own. We hope to be in before Christmas, fingers crossed!
