An Eton boy in uniform....
It's been a very cold weekend, but we managed to get out of Central London on Sunday to visit Dave's parents. They took us out for a walk to a lovely church with a memorial garden, famous for being the resting place of poet Thomas Gray; then onwards to Eton. I felt very privileged to be shown around Greater London, even sighting my first robin in the Evans garden and also the Queen's standard flying from the tower at Windsor Castle. We had some mulled wine while walking to stave off the cold, then went home to a delicious meal (with NZ wine!). A very big thank you to the Evans family for a warm welcome and a stunning Sunday! I am a very lucky girl.
