After a frustrating 2 weeks of sub-zero temperatures, the snow has finally melted and the building work can crack on. The final job, which has held us up all this time, was to render the blockwork.
The window frames have gone in too:
Next time we post, we are hoping to have our bifolding doors in and the scaffold down. Yay!

We've also had to say good bye to our beloved 60s kitchen. Here it is, on the way out:

Funny though, the builders quoted less to render than build in brick! I think because the matching bricks from our old house were so expensive...
