Blue Elephant Sunday

We woke up to a gloomy Sunday with wet weather, and me with the London Lurgy (cold). Luckily, we'd decided earlier in the week to follow Dave's recommendation of going to Blue Elephant, a Thai restaurant in Fulham, for their Sunday buffet.

It's a bit like landing in Thailand just to have your lunch, it really cheered me up!

There's an indoor garden complete with massive displays of orchids and fresh exotic fruits, and giant koi carp to entertain the kids.

The food is wonderful, with lots of different things to try. I loved the noodle table, where you could pick what went into your personal noodle bowl. There were also staff making fresh spring rolls and dainty appetisers right in front of you.

Thanks to Clare for taking the pictures! And thanks to Joel for demonstrating the Japanese eating competition jiggle!

Oh, I really miss good Thai in London. Sounds like you had a great time, so sorry to hear you've succumbed to the lurgy (me too!).

And thanks for all the tips about Richmond Park! xx
