Open Air

A few weekends ago, Clare and Joel came to stay with us and we decided to make the most of a moody day and go to the Chiltern Open Air Museum. We chose a good day to go as the 2nd Battalion 95th Rifles were doing a re-enactment day, which added some gunfire and excitement!

Some furry friends.

This is recreation of an iron age hut, which Dave remembers from a childhood trip.

Trying a Game of Thrones-esque pose in an old barn...

A shaggy haystack, and a tin church.

Firing time for the Battalion...

We also admired their lunch - authentic period recipe meals!
